Description
BioLynceus ProBiotic Scrubber® HCC is a natural liquid bioaugmentation formulation used primarily for enhancing the biological degradation and decomposition of petroleum hydrocarbons and other organic materials in contaminated soil and water.
Its main applications include:
- Petroleum Contamination Remediation: It is specifically designed to reduce petroleum hydrocarbon contamination in soil and water environments, such as those found at oil refineries.
- Wastewater Treatment: It is used in industrial settings, such as oil refineries, to treat wastewater by enhancing the breakdown of solids and hydrocarbon residues in aerobic biological treatment units.
- Sludge Reduction (Bio-Dredging®): It helps reduce accumulated organic solids (sludge) in lagoons and wastewater treatment ponds without requiring extensive mechanical dredging, a process referred to as "Probiotic Dredging".
Derivation The product contains a mix of beneficial bacteria, derived from kelp, blue-green algae, minerals, and micronutrients, that accelerates the natural biological processes to clean contaminated sites and improve water quality.
